The focus and scope of articles published by JERME includes

  1. Exploration and identification of mathematical concepts embedded in cultural practices, artifacts, architecture, and indigenous systems.
  2. Integration of local culture, heritage, and local wisdom into the mathematics curriculum and learning process.
  3. Best practices and action research addressing learning obstacles in mathematics through cultural and realistic frameworks.
  4. Development of context-based instructional materials, modules, student worksheets, and assessment tools grounded in RME principles.
